In 2013 Andy Burt began work on the Down to Earth Storytelling Project, inspired by stories of Maine climate activists who were standing up for justice with communities impacted by climate change and environmental degradation. This endeavor built on more than 40 years of work and volunteer experiences with groups concerned about economic, social and environmental justice. Charlie Hudson
Charlie Hudson, founder of Hudson Media Empire, has been the contract videographer for the Down to Earth Storytelling Project. He filmed and edited the full-length feature “Down to Earth: Climate Justice Stories” and, in consultation with Andy, has developed the film into a 2-part format, ideal for classroom and group workshop settings. He is working with Down to Earth on our next film focused on Maine climate solutions.
